Well, Miami native Jennifer Cortiella wants to keep reminding us women that we need to learn how to live it to the fullest. The young entrepreneur began her own company of tee shirts. Megan Good Celebrates Birthday And Pulled Over The Same Night

This past weekend, the beautiful Megan Good celebrated her 30th birthday with a private party in Los Angeles. After leaving her party, Megan was pulled over. According to Megan, the officers assumed she was drinking, since she was celebrating her birthday earlier that night. She released this statement:

"For the record all … I DID NOT get a DUI. I got pulled over because the valet turned my lights off. Once they found out I was leaving my own birthday party, they insisted I must of had at least a drink and expressed they’d feel more comfortable with someone else driving me home.


I definitely wasn’t gonna argue with that because I recognize God’s grace when I see it, and whether I had one drink or five drinks, the law says zero drinks so I’m thanking God I got through my 30th and praising God for the grace only he can give!"

Chris Brown Announces F.A.M.E Tour Dates

Chris Brown is hitting the road pretty soon and coming to a city near you with Kelly Rowland, T-Pain, and Tyga.. Dates for Breezy's F.A.M.E tour has been announced. The tour will kick of September 12 in Toronto, Canada and wrap up in Hartford, Connecticut on October 30th.

Local Miami soul artist Sassy Singz is on fire. I remember meeting this young lady a few months back at a Hair Show I was co-coordinating. She sang a Mary J. Blige song and left everyone in the room in an awe. Her voice was so soulful and unique. From that time on, I knew she was a rising star. She recently released her music video for her single "No Reason," which was directed by Unkle Luc. The song was written by the lovely sassy herself and produced by Audio Junkyz.

Viola Davis, Emma Stone, and Octavia Spencer star in the film "The Help," which is in theaters today. The Queen of Hip-Hop & Soul is featured on the film's soundtrack with her single "The Living Proof." The song was written from the point of view of Viola Davis's character "Aibileen," who Mary thought was the smartest and bravest for being the first to come forward to tell her story. Mary recently released the music video to the single in support of the film. The video features Mary in the studio recording the song, while clips of the film is being shown.

Jay-Z Tops Forbes Cash King List

Forbes recently released their 2011 Cash King list of the top earning hip-hop artists. Hip-Hop mogul/business Jay-Z made his way back to the top of the list for the 4th time in the last 5 years. The mogul made an estimated $37 million over the past year with his ongoing deal with Live Nation, partnership with the New Jersey Nets, his Roc Nation label, Rocawear clothing line, 40/40 club, and course his music sales.

Last night, I was tuned into TV One's unsung. Debarge was being profiled on the popular series. Its such a tragedy that so much talent in one family go to waste. From the entire family being drug addicts, El letting his promising career going down the drain, to Bobby Debarge dying from aids because of heroin. But I can say that their music will always live on. Many artists have sampled their music, such as Tupac, Biggy, Mary J. Blige, and Nelly.I remember watching 106 & Park and El Debarge was there promoting his album "second chance". Terrance and Rocsi spoke on on how artists sampled Debarge music. They asked him his favorite and he answered Tupac "I ain't mad at cha." I felt exactly the same way. As a tribute to the amazing Debarge family, here is an old school video of the Debarge performing their hit song "I like it."

Fort Lauderdale Gold Coast Roller Rink Closing Down

Its a sad day for skating lovers. After more than 60 years in business in its Fort Lauderdale location, The Gold Coast Roller Rink is closing down for good. The rink, which is located on federal highway, south of state road 84 is known for hosting events such as Intoxiskate Tuesdays, the Gold Coast Derby girls along with birthday celebrations. 

Miles Miron, the manager of the rink confirmed the closing to The New Times, saying "The rink will be closing August 14 after the last session on that Sunday night. 
Members of the Gold Coast Roller Rink facebook page were sadden when the news surfaced about the rink's closing. Members expressed their feelings on the popular facebook page. The last major event will be held tonight for "The Final Gay Skate," which has been held every Tuesday since 1968. The historic rink will be demolished after closing.Miles Miron did an exclusive interview with the County Grind, where he spoke on the closing and the new business that will replace the rink.

Basketball Wives Finale: Eric Williams Throws Drink In Jennifer's Face

Last night's Basketball Wives was unforgettable. Mostly because of Jennifer Williams. Viewers wouldn't think that Jennifer was capable of the things she did in last night's episode. From Jennifer's divorce party to her meeting with husband or ex-husband (not sure if they are divorced yet) Eric Williams. But the meeting with Eric takes the cake. The two was arguing during the meet, which led Eric to get and leave. Jennifer throws a drink at him as he walked away. Then it happened.... Eric makes his way back to the table,  says a few words to Jen and throws a drink at her face. Although I am not a fan of Jennifer and her sudden stank attitude, I do not agree with her throwing a drink at Eric, but Eric throwing a drink at her face was just wrong. Many felt the same way after seeing the preview of last night's episode last week. Eric was even heavily criticized for his actions via twitter. In response to all the slack, he tweeted:

Kelly Rowland's Nip Slip Moment

Miss Kelly Rowland has been doing a lot performing and appearance for the past few, since the release of her album. Well the other day, Kelly had a nip slip at a club in West Orange New Jersey. During her "motivation" performance at the 4Sixty6 Club, she had a small wardrobe malfunction and gave the audience a small peep show. She later tweeted about the nip slip.
