Kendrick Perkins Arrested

Oklahoma City Thunder basketball player Kendrick Perkins was recently arrested in Beaumont, TX for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. Perkins was booked into Jefferson County Jail around 4 am on misdemeanor charges. According to Jefferson County Jail, the nba player was released on a $251 bond.

Petition Urges Sesame Street To Marry Bert And Ernie

This week, a petition was circulating about Sesame Street's Bert and Ernie. The petition was encouraging the creators of the show to marry the two best friends. However, the Sesame family stated that even though the two puppets have shared living space with each for over 40 years, they aren't gay and were created to teach tolerance. 

They even posted a message on facebook, stating: 

"Bert and Ernie are best friends.... They were created to teach preschooler that people can be good friends with those who are very different from themselves. Even though the are identified as male characters and possess many human traits and characteristics... they remain puppets, and do not have a sexual orientation."

Scarface Showing In Theatres Nationwide For One Night

Classic film "Scarface" is coming to a big screen near you for only one night. NCM Fathom and Universal Studio Home Entertainment is bringing the Scarface special event to theaters nationwide. 

The event will will take place Wednesday August 31st at 7:30 pm local time. A mini feature of interviews with filmmakers and talents on how the film has influenced film making throughout the years and society. 

Scarface is set to release on Blue-Ray on September 6th. Tickets are limited to the Scarface one night showing.

Lil Wayne recently released his new single "She Will," which features label mate Drake. The two will be dropping a collaborative album soon. But, it seems like "She Will" originally had three emcee's on the track. Miami's own Rick Ross was featured on the original version. However, Ross was taken off the track.
