New Music Video: Beyonce Featuring J.Cole "Party"

A couple of days ago, we gave you a sneak peak of Beyonce's new music video "Party." Well, the video is officially here. Only Beyonce would make living in a trailer park look good or having a simple pool party at a motel seem fun. Bey hits us with her 3rd music video in one month and shows us how she likes to party.

In this 90"s style video, J.Cole joins Bey and drops a couple of bars on the track. The laid back setting has cameo appearances by Bey's sister Solange rocking beautiful long braids, while on the turntables and Kelly Rowland doing a little two step with Bey by an old school car.

Earlier this evening, 106 and park gave a sneak peak of Beyonce's new video "Party." In the upcoming video, King Bey is doing it 90's style this time around (the hood edition). Bey and her sisters (Solange and Kelly Rowland) hit up a motel to throw a pool party.

Rapper J. Cole also makes an appearance in the video. During an interview with HOT 106 "Rise & Grind Morning Show, he revealed that he was suppose to be on original song, but was replaced by rapper/Outkast member Andre 3000. However, Bey reached out to the North Carolina native rapper and asked him to drop a verse on the "Party" remix. J.Cole felt honored to work with Beyonce and took it as a blessing.

"You know how many verses I did for that song. I did a version of that before her album [4] even came out. I did two verses. I love these verses too, but they ended up going with Andre's verse and Andre Killed it."

Sneak Peak Video: Beyonce "Love On Top"

Seems like Beyonce has been all over the internet for the past few days. Last week, she premiered her video "countdown," and received some heat about stealing choreography from Belgian choreographer Anne Teresa De Keemaeker. Beyonce responded to the accusations by saying that she was paying homage to her icons Diana Ross, Twiggy, Audrey Hepburn, Andy Worhol, and more. Now, Bey hit us again with another inspiration for her next music video release "Love On Top," which she performed at the VMA's.

Beyonce is seen as the front man of a group with 5 male back up singers doing choreography with microphone stands. If this seems a little familiar to you, its because Bey uses the influence of  New Edition "Is It Love?" music video.

Beyonce Responds To "Countdown" Video Accusations

Last night, we reported on Beyonce being accused of plagiarism for her latest music video "countdown." Read about incident here. Well, Bey responded to the accusations with a letter:
“Clearly, the ballet ‘Rosas danst Rosas’ was one of many references for my video ‘Countdown.’ It was one of the inspirations used to bring the feel and look of the song to life.”

“I was also paying tribute to the film, ‘Funny Face’ with the legendary Audrey Hepburn. My biggest inspirations were the ’60s, the ’70s, Brigitte Bardot, Andy Warhol, Twiggy and Diana Ross. I’ve always been fascinated by the way contemporary art uses different elements and references to produce something unique.”
After releasing a statement about the incident, Anne Teresa also wrote a letter that was posted on the Studio Brussel website (This website was the first to realize the comparison between the two videos). Anne Teresa gave Bey her props, but did not appreciate Beyonce and her crew for not crediting her for her choreography. The letter has been taken down since.

“Beyoncé is not the worst copycat; she sings and dances very well, and she has a good taste! On the other hand, there are protocols and consequences to such actions, and I can’t imagine she and her team are not aware of it.[...]“In the 1980s, this was seen as a statement of girl power, based on assuming a feminine stance on sexual expression. I was often asked then if it was feminist. Now that I see Beyoncé dancing it, I find it pleasant but I don’t see any edge to it. It’s seductive in an entertaining consumerist way.”

Beyonce Accused Of Stealing Dance Moves In Music Video "Countdown"

Beyonce has another accusation under her belt. A few months ago,we reported that Bey was accused of stealing  her billboard award performance idea from an Italian singer by the name of Lorella Cuccarinni. Well now, she's being accused of plagiarism for her latest music video "Countdown." The video, which premiered last Thursday, shows scenes from movies like West Side Story, Funny Face, and Flashdance. It seems like the choreography and costume ideas was taken  in one of the from Belgian choregorgrapher Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker 1983 dance piece "Rosas danst Rosas and 1990 piece "Achterland without any credits. According to Yahoo news, Studio Brussels released a comparison video of Anne De Keersmaeker and Bey. Studio Brussels reached out to De Keersmaeker and she stated:

"I didn't know anything about this. I'm not mad, but this is plagiarism. This is stealing. What's rude about it is that they don't even bother about hiding it. They seem to think they could do it because its a famous work. Am I honored? Look, I've seen local school kids doing this. That's a lot more beautiful." 
While Beyonce is being taunted about this incident, MTV chatted with the video's director Adria Petty (who is singer/songwriter Tom Petty's daughter) about the inspiration of the look and choreography behind the video. Beyonce was paying tribute to some of her icons Audrey Hepburn, Diana Ross, Andy Warhol, and Twiggy.
"I brought Beyonce a number of references and we picked some out together. Most were German modern-dance references, believe it or not. But it really evolved."

Molly Meldrum Interviews Beyonce On Sunday Night HD

Recently, Queen Bey chatted with Australian journalist and music critic Molly Meldrum on the show "Sunday Night HD." Before the interview began, a voice over of Molly Meldrum, showed videos of a very young Beyonce dancing and her in concert as fans screams her name. He continues his voice over, as the video shows Beyonce walking into a room for the interview and Molly states "her beautiful baby bump, no wonder Beyonce is blooming... this really is Destiny's Child." As Beyonce sit down for the interview, Molly says "You're glowing," and she replies with a big a big smile on her face "thank you."  Throughout the piece, we catch a very soft side of her. Bey is seen asking why GOD blessed her to have the life she has. She even tears up after giving her African dance partners a hug. Also videos showed Bey enjoying her one year long break, as well as her in the dance studio learning the dance routine to her video "Run The World (Girls)." In her Australian interview, Bey spoke on having a baby, her music inspiration "Michael Jackson," Her dancing/"Run The World (Girls)" dance routine, the end of Destiny's Child, ending her business relationship with her father, working to hard, and more.

On having a baby, and how it may change her life 
Absolutely, it has already changed my life. My husband and I have been together for 10 years for all of my twenties-since I was 20 and we just feel like it’s time. I’m very grateful that God has blessed me with the biggest gift that any human being can have. I think because I’ve accomplished a lot of things for myself and I really know who I am. I didn’t rush into anything and I feel like if it’s any time, right now is the time and I’m so happy.

Beyond. How old was I? Five years old and it was my first concert and it was his show and that night I decided my purpose. He’s the reason I do what I do, because I would have never experienced that magic if it wasn’t for him.
On dancing
I’m a huge fan of dance and I always try to think of a new way to move the body. I try to treat choreography like I do a hit song and I try to think of the things that are going to make people want to dance and move around, dance in the club or dance at their school play or whatever.
On her dance routine in “Run the Word (Girls)”
I saw this video clip on Youtube and it looked like Michael Jackson …it looked like stepping, like African all mixed in and I had never saw anything like it. We searched everywhere around Mozambique, which sounds crazy, but we found these guys.
On Destiny’s Child ending
Definitely, it was nerve-racking for all of us. It’s just when you’re use to something it’s hard to grow up sometimes and we all said, “Well, it’s time. We’re women, it’s time and we all want to do different things.”

New Music Video: Beyonce "Countdown"



A couple of days ago, we gave you a sneak peak of Beyonce's new music video "countdown." MTV just premiered the music video at 7:56 pm. In the colorful music video, Bey danced her way throughout the the visual, while rocking a different various looks. Previously, we told you that Bey was channeling a young version of Audrey Hepburn in her all black ensemble, well she did the same with her "supremes" look with her sequence dress and wig.

Sneak Peak Of Beyonce's Music Video "Countdown"

 

Beyonce brings us back to the 60s in her next visual. The singer just released a sneak peak to her next single "Countdown" on MTV.  She resemebles a young Audrey Hepburn in a classic 60s style by rocking pumpkin colored nails, a black turtle neck, slim-fitted pants with white socks and black shoes. She is seen as a human clock behind a black and white stripped background in her all black 60's ensemble. Then transitions to a montage of Bey counting down, while wearing the same black outfit, rocking a short cut in a black dress, channeling a Lichtenstein girl, and showing off her baby bump.

The track is off Beyonce's album "4," and is a sample of Boyz II To Men "Uhh Ahh." Last week, MTV chatted a little with Boyz II Men and gave the R&B two thumbs up for sampling their song. Wanya Morris told MTV News:

"I thought it was very clever. She's a clever artist. She's one of the best in the business right now. i guess you an say we finally got our duet with Beyonce"

The entire music video, which was directed by Adria Petty will premiere this Thursday.

Beyonce Shows Baby Bump At 2011 VMA's

The day has finally come everyone.... BEYONCE IS PREGNANT! The diva announced her pregnancy by showing her baby bump on the black carpet at the 2011 MTV VMA's. Bey wore a beautiful long one shoulder dress. MTV tweeted the news:

“OMG Beyonce just made a huge announcement on the #vma carpet! #baby!!!!!”

While, Solange also tweeted:

New Music Video: Beyonce "1+1"

Beyonce joined forces with Laurent Briet Ed Burke to direct her new music video for "1+1." The video premiered tonight on E! at 7 pm. The single, which is Bey's favorite song off her "4" album was written by Radio Killa "The Dream." The video is very simple and sexy with the diva doing some seductive/sultry dance moves.

Beyonce "Pulse" Fragrance Commercial

I must say, Beyonce is one of the most busiest woman on earth. She's dropping albums, having concerts, doing promotions, making appearances, and perfums. Bey released her new fragrance "Pulse" last month. The fragrance is the follow up to her successful fragrance Heat and Heat Rush. She even shot a commercial for the perfume.

Behind The Scenes Of "4 Intimate Nights With Beyonce" Concert Series

Beyonce wraps up her "4 Intimate Nights With Beyonce" concert series tonight at the Roseland Ballroom. She performs her entire "4" album in NYC with her all women band/orchestra, which includes women on guitar, violins, saxophones, and even a hart. A behind the scenes video takes you inside of the concert series event. The part 1 mini documentary gives you a look at her band/orchestra, dancers, musical directors, and production crew preparing for the concert. Bey's lead guitarist BiBi reveals that "4" is her favorite Beyonce album, since the diva is able to do what she wants this time around.

Beyonce Performs At The Roseland Ballroom/ Husband Jay-Z Compares Bey To MJ

Beyonce hit the stage last night at the Roseland Ballroom in New York for her first show of her concert series "4 Intimate Nights With Beyonce." While rocking the stage with a Tina Knowles creation, she performed hit singles from her album "4," such as "Best Thing I Never Had," "1+1," "Countdown," "End Of Time," and "Love On Top."

Beyonce Chats With Pride Source "I've always had a connection with my gay fans"

Beyonce took time out her schedule to sit down with Pride Source and talk with the Michigan LGBT magazine. In her interview, Bey reveled that her inspiration comes from her homosexual fans. She also spoke on her admiration for Lady Gaga, her new role in the remake of "A Star Is Born," and how the song "I Was Here," may inspire the gay community.
