Jay-Z Tops Forbes Cash King List

Forbes recently released their 2011 Cash King list of the top earning hip-hop artists. Hip-Hop mogul/business Jay-Z made his way back to the top of the list for the 4th time in the last 5 years. The mogul made an estimated $37 million over the past year with his ongoing deal with Live Nation, partnership with the New Jersey Nets, his Roc Nation label, Rocawear clothing line, 40/40 club, and course his music sales. 
Another Hip-hop mogul topping the list is Diddy ($35 million), coming in at number 2. Kanye comes in at number 3 ($16 million), along with a tie between father and son Lil Wayne and Birdman at $15 million. Eminem, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dog share the number 6 spot at $14 million. Akon coming in at number 9 ($13 million) and Ludacris closing the top 10 with $12 million.
Drake, Wiz-Khalifa, Nicki Minaj, and Swizz Beatz made beyond the top ten with Drake and Wiz sharing the number 11 spot ($11 million), while Nicki and Swizzy both come in at number 15 ($6.5 million). Hip-hop superwoman is the first female rapper to make the Forbes Cash Kings list. You go girl! Nicki is holding it down for the women in hip-hop.
