Monica And Shannon Brown Chats Ups With ABC Eye On L.A

ABC's Eye on L.A caught up with the newlywed couple Monica and Shannon Brown. The two chatted up with L.A ABC affliate recently as they prepare for their wedding at Pasadena. Monica and Shannon spoke on how they met and gave great tips on first date, while they taste-tested food.


On Their Upcoming Wedding:

“We married six months ago and we did it without the families, so now we’re having a celebration of our union with all of our family from Chicago and Atlanta and we’ve got to find a menu that works for everybody.”

On How They Met:

“I go to work, and I have been for over 16 years and in the video we got married, and I didn’t expect that 6 months later we would do so in real life. That’s the way it worked out. That’s my first time ever seeing him, there [on the music video shoot].”

On Safe First Date Foods:

“I had a steak. I had potatoes. I mean, there’s no safe way to me. When you start putting on facades, you mess it up so I say be you. That’s the safe way."
