Earlier this week, Tyrese got into a little trouble in Delaware. On Monday, he made a radio appearance on Delaware's biggest urban station KISS 101.7 and was kicked out for what he says was because he spoke against liquor stores being near schools. He later tweeted about the incident and the program director having a problem with what he had to say:
"just kicked out of a radio station frm a Pd who had a problem w/ me speaking on liquor stores that are by elementary schools in Delaware. In 17 year I hv NEVER been kicked out a radio station.... Because I have aproblem w/ liquor stores being across from elementary schools?"I was also told that the PD made them ERASE my interview that NO ONE could HEAR me SPEAK on the issue of the liquor stores near kids."
However, KISS 101.7 Program Director Tony Quartarone says he kicked him out for a different reason.
"Tyrese was not kicked off the air for pointing out that liquor stores should not be located near schools.... I totally agree with that. But .... he proceeded to downgrade my audience by calling them homies."

In addition to referring to KISS 101.7 audience as homies, Quartarone said Tyrese was being condescending with his language and was asked to leave the building. Due to Tyrese behavior, Quartarone decided that he will not play any of Tyrese's music until he apologizes for his behavior and tweets.
"The PD has been trying lies from that station.... None of the people at ur station like you.... And Delaware is gonna take good care of you...."
Taking it one step further, Tyrese even called into TMZ to explain his side of the story. He also expressed that he didn't care if his music was taken off the air. Check out the audio here
