Court spokesperson Karen Levey stated to reporters that all 12 jurors decline to address the media. Levey said "They are not interested," and also the jurors response was an "unequivocal no." Levey goes on to say, "Judge Perry has withheld the release of their names at this point." "While the family may never know what happened to Caylee Marie Anthony, they now have closure for this chapter of their life," said Casey's family attorney, Mark Lippman, on behalf of George and Cindy Anthony (Casey's parents), and her brother Lee Anthony. Lippman adds "They will begin the process of rebuilding their lives."

Anthony's lawyer Jose Baez later addressed the media with some comments about the case. "There are no winners in this case," Baez said. "Caylee has passed on far, far too soon." Baez says that he was motivated by seeking justice for both Caylee and Casey Anthony these past three years. "Casey did not murder Cayle, Baez said. "Its that simple." "And today, our system of justice has not dishonored her memory by a false conviction."

State attorney for the 9th District Lawon Lamar stated "we're disappointed with the verdict today and surprised, because we know the facts." "I never, ever criticize a jury." Lamar said the jury task is to decide what to believe. He goes on and commended the prosecuting team. He said proving the case was hard, due to Caylee's remains were skeletal when it was discovered and lacked any chemical evidence. "This was a dry-bones case," Lamar said. "....The delay in recovering little Caylee's remains worked to our considerable
disadvantage."

The prosecuting team did not speak at Lamar's news conference. However, the Anthony family stated "Despite the baseless defense chosen by Casey Anthony, the family believes that the jury made a fair decision based on the evidence presented, the testimony presented, the scientific information presented and the rules that were given to them."
