So Mr and Mrs. Smith has another star in the family. Although Ms. Willow has played a few roles in her 9 years of living, the young star has a new single called "Whip My Hair." I actually can say, I LIKE IT. The song had me whipping my HAIR. I like the beat and the lyrics itself is very catch. Actually, the entire song is CATCHY. The sound is a mixture of both pop and hip-hop, which I love. However, many are saying that the song is too mature for her age, but "Hey" many actors/singers/models have started their career very early and done work that were to mature. For example, Look at Brooke Shields, who began her career at before she the age of one. Actually I can name a few. First, she starred in the film "Pretty Baby," which caused controversy because of the nude scenes in the movie. Many criticized the film for child pornography because Shield was 11 during filming and 12 at the time of the movie release. Second, 14 year-old Shields made headlines in the 80s for her Calvin Klein TV Ad, where she said "You know what comes between me and my Calvins? Nothing. Or, take it when then 17 year old Brittany Spears Rolling Stone cover. It had many parents concerned because she was a role model for young female fans. I admit I was amongst one of those fans and I'm not embarrassed to admit it. Basically, I'm just saying that situations like this happens all the time. A young celebrity is sometimes criticized for the work they put out. Its funny, but I just thought of something.... What if it was Jayden Smith that put a single out like "Whip My Hair?" Would people criticize him. Honestly, I don't think so. Like always, females have it harder then men (meaning females are criticized more harshly then men). But all I can say is, "more power to you Willow." So, what do you think? Rapper or Singer? Do you thinks she is following her rapper/actor father foot steps or her singer/actress foot steps It seems like Willow has a nice voice in this song?
