New Music Video: Mary J. Blige "25/8"

There is no stopping the Queen of soul. Mary J. Blige is set to release her tenth studio album titled "My life II... The Journey Continues (Act I)." Mary joined forces with Director Diane Martel for her new music video "25/8," the lead single off her upcoming album. 

In the visual, the world is moving at a fast pace as Mary is singing the lyrics to her song in the middle of the road. Later, Mary surprises us with a military style dance routine with a group of male dancers in her military inspired look. 
Mary performed "25/8" along with "Real Love" earlier this month on "dancing with the stars." Check out her performances here.

Mary J. Blige Performs On "Dancing With The Stars"

ABC's hit show "Dancing With The Stars" got a chance to see Mary J. Blige rock the stage. The singer  performed her 1992 hit song "Real love" and "25/8", which is her first single off her upcoming album "My Life II... The Journey Continues (Act One)." For her "Real Love" performance, Mary wore a form fitting dress (displaying her beautiful curves) as her live band accompanied her and two dancers danced their hearts away. Later, Mary took the stage with all male dancers wearing a sexy military inspired outfit as she performed. The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul definitely delivered both performances.

Mary J. Blige Releases Art For "My Life II"

The beautiful and talented Mary J. Blige just release the art for her upcoming album, "My Life II...The Journey Continues (Act I). The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul will drop tenth album November 21st. Its the sequel to her 1994 LP "My Life." "25/8" was the first single off the album, which was produced and co-written by Eric Hudson. If you haven't heard "25/8" yet, listen below:

The record is off her upcoming LP "My Life II: The Journey Continues," which drops in October.  Producers Jermaine Dupri, Rico Love, Swizz Beathz, and Pharrell also blessed the album with their talents.

Foxy Brown Talks Collaboration Album With Mary J. Blige

Who would love to see a Mary J. Blige and Foxy Brown Collabo album? Seems like it was in the works a few years ago before Foxy lost her hearing. The two recorded about five songs for the duet album, which was suppose to be called "Best Of Both Girls." Foxy Brown revealed these details at a concert in Newark, NJ. 

"People don't know, me and Mary J. Blige recorded five records for an album called The Best Of Both Girls, like Jay and R.Kelly did The Best Of Both Worlds." Mary's like a big sister to me. And in the middle of recording those records, I lost my hearing." 

Well, hopefully something will come out of this. Those five songs cannot go to waste. These two need to link up and work on this project. I feel like something great can come out of this collaboration.

New Music Video: Mary J. Blige "The Living Proof"

Viola Davis, Emma Stone, and Octavia Spencer star in the film "The Help," which is in theaters today. The Queen of Hip-Hop & Soul is featured on the film's soundtrack with her single "The Living Proof." The song was written from the point of view of Viola Davis's character "Aibileen," who Mary thought was the smartest and bravest for being the first to come forward to tell her story. Mary recently released the music video to the single in support of the film. The video features Mary in the studio recording the song, while clips of the film is being shown.
