The smiths are moving on up. Will and Jada Pinkett Smith are part owners of the basketball franchise Philadelphia 76ers. Now obviously, Philly is where the fresh prince would do such a deal, since he is a Philly native. The lovely couple were approved of their $280 million NBA deal.
This ownership deal will include the Smiths and billionaire Jousha Harris. Recently, Joshua Harris released his excitement about the deal in a brief statement:
"My partners and I are thrilled to have become owners of the Sixers. It's an honor to be part this storied franchise. We want to build on the team's momentum and be world class and cutting edge in everything we do." Jousha Harris |
A few months ago, there were rumors about Will and Jada getting a divorce, which was put to rest after family members confirmed the rumors were false. Radar Online contacted a family member, who stated:
"This is absolutely not true. No way are they splitting up. The are totally together and are not separating"Another source, who works closely with the couple said:
"The rumors are not true. Not sure who the source was but they are wrong. All is good in their relationship."
Will's son from his first marriage, Trey denied the rumors via twitter:
"Will and Jada getting a DIVORCE... NOT TRUE AT ALL!"
Obviously this deal proves that these two are here for the long run. At least they have gained another big source of income, since TNT canceled Jada's show "Hawthorne."
See, when GOD closes one door.... he always opens another one!I wish the Smith's the best in their new business venture.
