The R&B lost another great legend. One half of the Motown legendary group Ashford and Simpson, Nick Asford has passed away. According to the Associated Press, Ashford died of throat cancer. The group Ashford and Simpson was a group that consisted of both Nick and his wife Valerie Simpson. The couple were also song writers to big names in Motown and individual artists Chaka Khan, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, duo Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell, and Supreme Diana Ross. Their smash hits include "Reach Out And Touch Somebody's Hand, "You're All I Need To Get By," "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," and "I'm Every Woman."
