Kim And Kris's $20 Million Wedding

Seems like Kim is going to top her sister's Khole and best friend Lala extravagant wedding. Its being reported that Kim's wedding is being compared to the Royal wedding, which recently place. Kim walks down the aisle on August 20th in her Vera Wang wedding gown and becomes Mrs. Kimberly Humphries. 

Lala recently sat down with Kevin Frazier of The Insider, where she told the insider:

"Hers is like the Royal Wedding. Mine was really big and over the top and cool but this is the next level." 

Lala even spoke on Kim's happiness and the connection that Kim and Kris share with her and melo:

"It’s amazing when you see a friend of yours so happy, (she’s one of my best friends) and Kris Humphries is such a great guy. Him and Melo have went way back as well playing basketball as teenagers. So it’s cool to have like that whole connection and just seeing her in love and happy as her friend, that’s all you want for your friend."

Khole even compared Kim and Kris's upcoming wedding to the Royal wedding:

“And I joke and say it will be like the Royal Wedding because she is just like that.”

Now, you may wonder why Kim's wedding is being compared to royal wedding. According to reports, Kris and Kim's wedding has an estimated price tag of $20 million dollars. The wedding will take place near Oprah's estate in Montecito, California. The over the top affair will broadcast as a 2-part special called "Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event" on E!, which airs October 9th and 10th. The  guest list, which consists of 1,000 includes Jay-Z and Beyonce, Ryan Seacrest, Jennifer Lopez, Kanye, Eva Longoria, Kelly Osbourne, Justin Beiber, and Snooki.  

“Everyone, including guests J.Lo and Ryan Seacrest, will park their cars and take fancy shuttle busses up to the venue. They will have to go through metal detectors and will have to hand over their cell phones and any other recording devices. There will be more security devoted to making sure the footage and images from this wedding [are] safe [than] security making sure Kim and her guests are safe.”

And that's not all folks. Seems like the Kardishans did not pay this entire wedding on their own. They had a little help from sponsors, thanks to the Kardashians mother/manager Kris Jenner. PEOPLE magazine are amongst the sponsors for the wedding. They already paid $300,000 for Kim's engagement party photos, now $1 million dollars for exclusive wedding access. Rumor has it that Kim's $2 million/20.5 carat was a gift from Lorraine Schwartz. Kim was paid by the company for the ring in exchange for the media exposure they would receive once her engagement was announced. 

With this rushed wedding being taken place next week, I hope Kris and Kim make their marriage work. One thing that really irks me is when so much money and time is invested in a wedding, but not as much time is invested in the marriage.
