Rocsi and Terrance, hosts of BET's 106 and Park was accompanied by Nicki Minaj self proclaimed biggest fan Tiffany Green to announce the winner of the award. Tiffany announced Chris Brown as the winner, but then switched up and said Rihanna was the winner. Since Rihanna was not present at the BET Awards, Drake accepted the award.
But it turned out that Chris Brown was the actual winner of the viewer's choice award. Before closing the show, Kevin Hart later came out and corrected the mix-up with Chris Brown by his side.
On the other hand, that did not stop Tiffany Green from expressing her feelings on the big mix-up twitter. She felt that BET set her up. Here is what she said on twitter:
Bawling backstage. They totally f*cked me up.
The tablet f*ckin said CHRIS BROWN….the TELEPROMPTER said Rihanna. What the F*CK?????? Goin home.
So BET did that on purpose. Oh. I feel better.
"Look b*tches….Im not SLOW. lol They did the sh*t on PURPOSE. F*cked up right? *shrug* smh"
BET Executive Stephen Hill later posted that the mix was a human error:
"That BET Awards Viewer’s Choice mix-up was due to human error. And I was the human that made that error. I apologize to ALL affected."
DJ Clue also had some input of the viewer's choice award issue. He basically tweeted what everyone thought about the mix-up:
"That’s f*cked up.. They made @drakkardnoir come out & do an Acceptance speech for an award he aint win. SMMFH"
