Former Chicago Bulls player and hall of famer Scottie Pippen was recently on espn radio show "mik and mike," where made a couple of statements that has some people in shock. Pippen, who is a 6 time NBA championship and played alongside Michael Jordan, said that he believes Lebron is the best player to every play the game. Now, I know many of you may be like, hell naw, scottie doesn't know what he is talking about. But Pippen made his comparison of the two (Jordan and James). He said M.J was a great scorer, but Lebron's willingness to involves all his teammates that make him the best player. Take a peek at what scottie said in the interview:
“Michael Jordan is probably the greatest scorer to ever play in the game, but I may go as far to say LeBron James is probably the greatest player to ever play the game. He’s so potent offensively…not only can he score at will, but he keeps everybody involved. You have to be on your Ps and Qs because everybody is a threat to score when he’s on the floor. Not only that, LeBron James will dominate the game on the offensive end and he’s able to do it on the defensive end as well. He can get in those passing lanes and dominate the game.”
After his comment on the radio show, Pippen received some negative attentions from M.J fans and decided to elaborate more on his comments:
"Don’t get me wrong, MJ was and is the greatest. But LeBron could by all means get to his level someday."
"Every NBA generation has a new set of stars and LeBron is there as the best all around player in the game."
