T.I Released From Prison: Lands Book Deal And Reality Show

Early this morning, Clifford Harris, also known as T.I or T.I.P was released from an Arkansas prison. Now, the rapper is headed to an Atlanta community living facility or home confinement until September 29th. But it seems like Tip was still grinding while he was incarcerated. The Associated Press reported that the rapper finalized a book deal with Harper Collins. He also co-wrote a novel with David Ritz titled "Power & Beauty," which is set to released in October. The novel is a fictional story about two Atlanta childhood friends, who part ways because of dangerous dealings on the streets.
T.I even has a reality show in place, where cameras will follow him for the next few months as he adjusts to life as a free man and work on his career. VH1 released a press release on the reality show:

Stacey Dash Not Returning To Vh1 Show "Single Ladies"

Its official people... STACEY DASH IS NOT RETURNING TO SINGLE LADIES. After the 1st season finale of the show, the internet was on fire about her alleged departure and behind the scene drama. However, the rumor was put to rest for a bit. The now former "Single Ladies" star confirmed the rumor with an exclusive statement to Global Grind. Read her statement to Global Grind below:
"I truly enjoyed playing Val on Single Ladies, but I have decided to the show. I have to be back in LA with my children right now and the 'Single Ladies' shooting location makes that impossible. "My story to young people people around this country and the world, is, Don't look at me as the First Lady first, look at me as Michelle Obama, a girl who grew up on the South Side of Chicago. Because i was there, and this is attainable. There is no magic to this. It is hard work...."

Eight University Of Miami Players Suspended

Many of you are aware with all the issues that are going down with the University Of Miami. Just in case some of you are not informed on this matter, click here for the story. Well, the ncca has come to a decision for UM players that face suspension for this football season. Eight football players were named, which includes:

UM Football Suspensions
Oliver Vernon- DE (6 games)
Aravious Armstrong- S (4 games)
Dyron Dye- TE (4 games)
Travis Benjamin (WR)- (1 game)
Marcus Forston- DL (1 game)
Jacory Harris- QB (1 game)
Adewale Ojomo-DL (1 game)
Sean Ryan Spence-LB (1 game)

In order to be eligible to play again, the NCAA student-athlete reinstatement staff are requiring all eight players to miss competition and repay benefits. This all surfaced after ponzi schemer Nevin Shapiro made allegations that he gave benefits to various players between 2002-2010. Each student were given their punishments based on the amount of benefits they received from Shapiro and athletics personnel. Benefits included meals, transportation, entertainment at clubs/gentleman's, access to Shapiro's game suite, and etc. Oliver Vernon received more than $1,200 in benefits and must miss 6 games. Aravious Armstrong must repay $788 and Dyron Dye $738, which led them to miss 4 games. While the other five players must miss 1 game for receiving benefits, which includes each player to repay (Marcus Forston- more than $400, Sean Ryan Spence- $275, Adewale Ojomo- $240, Travis Benjamin- $150, and Jacory Harris- $140.
