Janet Jackson Graces The Cover Of Harper Bazaar As The "GODDESS"

Photographer Alan Gelati got some great shots of Janet Jackson in this month's issue of Harper Bazaar Arabia. Ms. Jackson, who is defined as a "Goddess" on the cover of the magazine and styled by stylist Sally Matthews is rocking a green long sleeve lace overlay bustier inspired dress. She is celebrating almost 40 years in the entertainment industry, which also marks the 40 year anniversary of UAE and kick off of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Janet's new boo/boyfriend billionaire Wissam Al Mana also was in the November issue of the magazine last year (awww, how cute).

I don't know what to say about this video, lol. With his MC Hammer "Can't Touch This" sample track, rapper Big Sean brings us his latest music video for his single "Dance (A$%)" the remix featuring Nicki Minaj.
In the video, Big Sean pays tribute to former rapper Will Smith (formerly "The Fresh Prince") in the opening of his visual. Nicki, later joins Big Sean and is shaking her assets in her British flag outfit. We even see a full screen of the word a$# in different languages in the opening sequence and throughout the video.

Wale On The Cover Of "Rolling Out"

November 1st is officially here. For those of you that are Wale fans, you know what that means...  "Ambition" is officially out. Besides the release of his album, Wale is on the cover of "Rolling Out." On the cover, Wale is holding a chess play piece with the words "WALE, In Search Of A Hip-Hop Masterpiece." In his interview with the Magazine, he spoke on catering to his female fan, what he looks for in a woman, and people's criticism on why he didn't have dark skin women in his music video "Pretty Girls."
On catering to his female following
"I want to be an advocate for the women. I may say some wild things, but that’s our time to have fun. But I stand for fixing the world our way. Let’s add spice to this and change the world. I believe women should go to school to network with others who will change the world. I’m encouraging. I’m a part of the problem, but I want to be a part of the clean up. “No Hands” is the party and “Ambitious Girls” is the clean up. We can have fun, but I hope you’re getting up and going to class. I don’t want to get in the way of that. That [is] something you have to do. For two years, I had to walk around with about $15 in my account. That was my time. I left school and had to get on my grind. I was about 21. Now show me you can work the system for four or five years and continue to do your thing."
On not having dark skin women in his video "Pretty Girls"
"It wasn’t about that, but it showed me what I meant to the black culture. That made me realize that people hold me at a higher regard. That was when I knew I had to make a change. For “Pretty Girls,” I didn’t go on set until there were dark-skinned girls at the video shoot. I was waiting. The most horrible feeling in the world, was that my women think that I don’t care about them. I’d rather go broke than for my black women to think that I don’t care about them. I would rather lose everything than to have my queens think I’m turning my back on them. I was the only kid in my neighborhood with a father. And that’s because I’m African and they don’t divorce. It messed me up. When I was in Mississippi, a girl told me she had her first child at 16. So I made a song called “Illest B—- Alive.” There’s a special place in my heart for black girls. If you’re black and have a black mother, you know how special they are."

Sneak Peak Of Tonight's Basketball Wives L.A (Episode 10)

Seems like tonight's episode of Basketball Wives L.A is going to be filled with a lot of drama. All of the ladies take a trip to the beautiful Hawaii. Now what was suppose to be a relaxed mini vacation without drama, turned into a drama filled vacation. In the sneak peak, Laura talks to her sister Gloria about the situation between she, Jackie, and Imani. She even addresses the fact she does not like Draya (sidenote: but yet, she's always talking and hugging Draya when she sees her... Don't really understand that).
The sneak peak transitions to miss Imani, who is fed up with the trash Laura has been saying about her and the other cast members, calls a moving company to move Laura stuff out her garage. She plans on telling Laura about the moving situation after their trip to Hawaii. In one scene, seems like Imani will finally speak up on her little beef with Laura during dinner in Hawaii.
Check out the sneak peak below:
Let's see how the drama unfolds in tonight's episode.

New Music Video: Jill Scott Featuring Paul Wall "So Gone (What My Mind Says)"

Although Jill is known for her female empowering songs, she is no rookie to sexy bedroom songs. Jill turns it up in her new music video "So Gone (What My Mind Says)", which features Texas rapper Paul Wall. A slimmer Paul Wall is going a different route with his lyrics on Jill's track, where he drops a sexy and pillow biting verse and mentions his diamond-chipped d*%k.
During a listening session earlier this year, Jill spoke on the different titles of the song and the meaning behind one of them.
"The song kind of embarrasses Paul Wall a little bit because its called a few thing. It's called "So Gone" officially. We've got a clean version, officially, it's called "What My Mind Says," and it's called "Diamond Chip D-k." "Diamond Chip D-k," for anyone who may not understand, is the vision when the zipper is unleashed the bling (laughs) and kind of like that."

New Nike Commercial: "Basketball Never Stops"

Seems like Nike is making a statement with their recent commercial. Since the owners don't want to reach an agreement with the players, Nike decided to gather a couple of players  for new commercial. NBA all stars such as Kevin Durant, Dirk Nowitzki, Lebron James, and Amare Stoudamire is helping Nike send a message "Basketball Never Stops." Coach K from Duke, rapper J.Cole, and Root member/drummer Questlove make an appearance in the commercial. Quest is shown spinning a basketball with his famous hair pic.
