Janet Jackson Graces The Cover Of Harper Bazaar As The "GODDESS"

Photographer Alan Gelati got some great shots of Janet Jackson in this month's issue of Harper Bazaar Arabia. Ms. Jackson, who is defined as a "Goddess" on the cover of the magazine and styled by stylist Sally Matthews is rocking a green long sleeve lace overlay bustier inspired dress. She is celebrating almost 40 years in the entertainment industry, which also marks the 40 year anniversary of UAE and kick off of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Janet's new boo/boyfriend billionaire Wissam Al Mana also was in the November issue of the magazine last year (awww, how cute).

New Music Video: Big Sean Featuring Nicki Minaj "Dance (A$%)"

I don't know what to say about this video, lol. With his MC Hammer "Can't Touch This" sample track, rapper Big Sean brings us his latest music video for his single "Dance (A$%)" the remix featuring Nicki Minaj.
In the video, Big Sean pays tribute to former rapper Will Smith (formerly "The Fresh Prince") in the opening of his visual. He is sitting on the throne as different women of ethnicity are giving him a show as they shake what their mama gave them. Nicki, later joins Big Sean and is shaking her assets in her British flag outfit. We even see a full screen of the word a$# in different languages in the opening sequence and throughout the video.

Wale On The Cover Of "Rolling Out"

November 1st is officially here. For those of you that are Wale fans, you know what that means...  "Ambition" is officially out. Besides the release of his album, Wale is on the cover of "Rolling Out." On the cover, Wale is holding a chess play piece with the words "WALE, In Search Of A Hip-Hop Masterpiece." In his interview with the Magazine, he spoke on catering to his female fan, what he looks for in a woman, and people's criticism on why he didn't have dark skin women in his music video "Pretty Girls."
On catering to his female following
"I want to be an advocate for the women. I may say some wild things, but that’s our time to have fun. But I stand for fixing the world our way. Let’s add spice to this and change the world. I believe women should go to school to network with others who will change the world. I’m encouraging. I’m a part of the problem, but I want to be a part of the clean up. “No Hands” is the party and “Ambitious Girls” is the clean up. We can have fun, but I hope you’re getting up and going to class. I don’t want to get in the way of that. That [is] something you have to do. For two years, I had to walk around with about $15 in my account. That was my time. I left school and had to get on my grind. I was about 21. Now show me you can work the system for four or five years and continue to do your thing."
On not having dark skin women in his video "Pretty Girls"
"It wasn’t about that, but it showed me what I meant to the black culture. That made me realize that people hold me at a higher regard. That was when I knew I had to make a change. For “Pretty Girls,” I didn’t go on set until there were dark-skinned girls at the video shoot. I was waiting. The most horrible feeling in the world, was that my women think that I don’t care about them. I’d rather go broke than for my black women to think that I don’t care about them. I would rather lose everything than to have my queens think I’m turning my back on them. I was the only kid in my neighborhood with a father. And that’s because I’m African and they don’t divorce. It messed me up. When I was in Mississippi, a girl told me she had her first child at 16. So I made a song called “Illest B—- Alive.” There’s a special place in my heart for black girls. If you’re black and have a black mother, you know how special they are."

Sneak Peak Of Tonight's Basketball Wives L.A (Episode 10)

Seems like tonight's episode of Basketball Wives L.A is going to be filled with a lot of drama. All of the ladies take a trip to the beautiful Hawaii. Now what was suppose to be a relaxed mini vacation without drama, turned into a drama filled vacation. In the sneak peak, Laura talks to her sister Gloria about the situation between she, Jackie, and Imani. She even addresses the fact she does not like Draya (sidenote: but yet, she's always talking and hugging Draya when she sees her... Don't really understand that).
The sneak peak transitions to miss Imani, who is fed up with the trash Laura has been saying about her and the other cast members, calls a moving company to move Laura stuff out her garage. She plans on telling Laura about the moving situation after their trip to Hawaii. In one scene, seems like Imani will finally speak up on her little beef with Laura during dinner in Hawaii.
Check out the sneak peak below:
Let's see how the drama unfolds in tonight's episode.

New Music Video: Jill Scott Featuring Paul Wall "So Gone (What My Mind Says)"

Although Jill is known for her female empowering songs, she is no rookie to sexy bedroom songs. Jill turns it up in her new music video "So Gone (What My Mind Says)", which features Texas rapper Paul Wall. A slimmer Paul Wall is going a different route with his lyrics on Jill's track, where he drops a sexy and pillow biting verse and mentions his diamond-chipped d*%k.
During a listening session earlier this year, Jill spoke on the different titles of the song and the meaning behind one of them.
"The song kind of embarrasses Paul Wall a little bit because its called a few thing. It's called "So Gone" officially. We've got a clean version, officially, it's called "What My Mind Says," and it's called "Diamond Chip D-k." "Diamond Chip D-k," for anyone who may not understand, is the vision when the zipper is unleashed the bling (laughs) and kind of like that."

New Nike Commercial: "Basketball Never Stops"

Seems like Nike is making a statement with their recent commercial. Since the owners don't want to reach an agreement with the players, Nike decided to gather a couple of players  for new commercial. NBA all stars such as Kevin Durant, Dirk Nowitzki, Lebron James, and Amare Stoudamire is helping Nike send a message "Basketball Never Stops." Coach K from Duke, rapper J.Cole, and Root member/drummer Questlove make an appearance in the commercial. Quest is shown spinning a basketball with his famous hair pic.

In Living Color Making A Comeback

Say it is sooooooo! Could it be that popular FOX sketch comedy series "In Loving Color" could be making a comeback? The show that launched careers of comedians and actors like the Wayans family (Kim, Shawn, Marlon, and Damon), David Allan Grier, Jim Carrey, Jamie Foxx, Tommy Davidson, and more is coming to a tv near you. It even started the career of Jennifer Lopez, who was just a Fly Girl showing the world her dance moves.
FOX and "In Living Color" creator/producer Keenan Ivory Wayans announced the return of the classic series with a two and half-hour special. However, there is a catch. If all goes well with the two hour special, a rebooted version will be added to FOX's fall schedule next year. Keenan will produce the series through his company Ivory Way Production, which is in association with 20 Century FOX.
Rumor is that Keenan is bringing in a new cast for the sketch series. But, word has not been confirmed if former cast members will make an appearance.
Check out a classic sketch from "ILC" titled "The Buttmans":

A couple of days ago, we gave you a sneak peak of Beyonce's new music video "Party." Well, the video is officially here. Only Beyonce would make living in a trailer park look good or having a simple pool party at a motel seem fun. Bey hits us with her 3rd music video in one month and shows us how she likes to party.
In this 90"s style video, J.Cole joins Bey and drops a couple of bars on the track. The laid back setting has cameo appearances by Bey's sister Solange rocking beautiful long braids, while on the turntables and Kelly Rowland doing a little two step with Bey by an old school car.

New Music Video: Monica "Until It's Gone"

The real princess of R&B Monica celebrated her 31st birthday yesterday. She premiered her new music video for her second single Until It's Gone" off her upcoming album "New Life." The video, which was directed by Diane Martel debuted on 106 and Park yesterday. This very emotional video sends a strong message: "you really don't know what you have UNTIL IT'S GONE."
In the video, a young couple (actor Brian White and actress Malinda Williams) are seen having an intense argument in a car, which results in a car crash. Malinda is severely hurt in the crash and rushed to the hospital. Her family gathers in the hospital waiting room as Malinda fights for her life. Monica plays the role of Malinda's big sister and is giving Brian White the business by singing the lyrics of the song. His no good, cheating, and trifling ways was the cause of the accident.

Read what J.Cole had to say in the interview"
On being replaced on the song "Party"

New Music Video: Terius Nask (Formerly The Dream) Featuring Big Sean "Ghetto"

Who is Terius Nash? For those of you that are not familiar with him, its the one and only Atlanta singer, songwriter, and producer "The Dream." These days Terius Nash is reinventing his image as an artist. He's giving people a taste of who he really is with his recent album "1977" (the year he was born), which he released free via internet. Terius just dropped the music video for his single "Ghetto" off the album ("1977") featuring rapper Big Sean.
The video opens up with a chopped and screw sound as Terius and Big Sean are in the club partying with a few beautiful chicks. After, the two men are shown posing in front of car while they show off their Jesus pieces. The music video transitions to Terius and few other people riding their bikes through a neighborhood while children are playing jump rope and having fun as he blesses the track with his vocals.

Matt Barnes Confirms Break-up Rumors

Tonight's Basketball Wives L.A is full of drama. In tonight's episode, drama rises between Imani, Jackie, and Draya against Laura. Matt and Gloria host their golf tournament/charity event, where Draya's and Laura tension grows even more.
But in other news, seems like Matt and Gloria has called it quits. Although Gloria did make it seem that her relationship with her ex-fiancee is perfect, it's been obvious the pair have been struggling to make it work throughout the series. At one point of the BBW series (episode 5 to be exact), Matt opened up about his love for Gloria, while having dinner with Jackie and Doug Christie. As Matt was speaking, Gloria sat back and listened to what he had to say, but it seems like Gloria wasn't buying it.
Watch a clip below of what went down during dinner:
Earlier today, Matt Barnes released a statement about the status of his relationship with Gloria.

Webbie Threatens Terrence J

A couple of weeks ago, rapper Webbie made an appearance on 106 and Park as a guest judge on Freestyle Friday. But after a commercial break, Webbie was no where to be found. Terrence J made an announcement saying he was banned from he show.
Check out Terrence J make the announcement below:
Apparently, he was kicked off the show for being disrespectful to either Rocsi or another woman that was on the show. After Terrence's announcement, Rocsi tweeted her followers.
"Ladies I don't care who he is never let a man think he can just disrespect you and talk any way he wants..."
So now, Webbie is mad about the banning weeks later and is speaking about it. This past weekend, he released a video about the 106 and park incident. Webbie goes off about being kicked off BET and beating up Terrence J.
Peep Webbie's video below:
All I can say is Wow. Next time, come correct Webbie. Don't think just because you got a couple of hit songs and making money, mean you can go around disrespecting people. smh

Later in the interview, the Cannon's finally gave society a glimpse of their twins (a baby boy and girl). The twins, who's names are Monroe (the girl) and Moroccan (the boy) were dressed formally dressed for their debut to the world. Morracan has a strong resemblance to Mairah when she was a baby.

50 Cent's Beef With Politicians And Corrupt CEO's

50 Cent is no stranger to beef and drama. The rapper is known for his past beef with Ja Rule and the Murder Inc fam, Cam'ron, Diddy, Rick Ross, Young Buck, Nas, and so on.Well, 50 is stirring up a new beef and bringing it too another level. 50's new targets are corrupt CEO's and politicians.
It began when 50 decided to use his energy drink "Street King" facebook page to feed hungry children, based on the number of page likes (each like equals a meal). Via the "Street King"facebook page, 50 wrote letter (which his lawyers also proofread), where he expressed his frustrations on people not helping those in need and stopping world hunger.

"Love And Hip-Hop" Season 2 Super Trailer

Looks like "Love & Hip-Hop" season 2 is going to be crazy. Yesterday, VH1 released the super trailer for the reality series. All I can say is just DRAMAAAAA!!! Where can I begin? Well, lets start with the fight that broke out between Chrissy (Jim Jones girlfriend/fiancee) and Kimbella (model and Juelez Santanna baby mama). During a conversation between some of the cast members, Kimbella revealed that she dated Fabolous three years ago, which was the same time Emily (Fabolous ex-girlfriend) was pregnant with Fab's son Johan. Well, maybe this is why Emily B decided to call it quits with Fabolous. In this season, Emily is single, on her own, and focusing on her career. However, she is still emotional from the break up, which leads her to drown herself in her work.
So, the drama continues with CHRISSY. Seems like Mama Jones still has beef with her. She went to the extreme and recorded a track dissing Chrissy, and even made a video of her recording the song (WOWZERS)! The beef between these two ladies does not sit well with Jim. In the super trailer, Jim is seen having an emotional conversation with his mother, where he cries about Chrissy's and Mama Jones beef.
Now, let's switch gears. Olivia seems to be very emotional about her career this season. In one scene, both Olivia and her manager are seen tearing up because of labels and record execs not believing in her. Somaya is still on her grind as always. But looks like she and her manager Maurice aren't seeing eye to eye. Besides Kimbella, we do see another new face this season. Jim Jones manager Yandy is one of the newbies of the series. Seems like she's Mrs. Fix-it in season 2. Basically, she's the peacemaker.

He was even shooting hoops with Sherri Sheperd and Elisabeth Hassleback.

Somaya Reece Puts "Love And Hip-Hop" Rumors To Rest/ "Love And Hip-Hop" Trailer

Yesterday, Bossip broke a story about VH1 hit reality series "Love And Hip-Hop." Supposedly, Somaya Reece was booted from the show and replaced by a model named Erica Mena. She is a Miami model and the former girlfriend of Terror Squad affiliate Raul Conde. A source told Bossip that Erica will be used to introduce a Miami spin off to "Love and Hip-Hop." The insider also said that Somaya was only going to make a few appearances on the show this season.
"Somaya did tape some episodes. I'm not sure at which point she was phased out and how much of her footage will be included, but she left the production team in a lurch. She told them she had a few ventures in the works, which would have given her a storyline on this new season. But as taping went on, it became obvious that she really didn't bring anything new to the table other than what she had going on last year, which we know wasn't much."
In addition to Erica, Teairra Mari is expected to be on the show as well.
"She's basically taking over Mashonda's role as Emily Bustamantes new best friend. Now that she officially single again, Tearria has basically become Emily's guide to the party life."
However, Somaya was not too pleased with this rumor. Earlier today, she met with her lawyers and her Publicist to shut down these rumors
"Meeting with my lawyers, & @MsKai_AspirePR this about to get really UGLY. Don't mess with the Davis Firm clients !!!!!!!
She later hinted that the rumor was cleared up via her twitter.

New Music Video: Alligator City "Whiteboy Wasted"

Miami's own Bizerk and Ft. Lauderadale native Protoman joined forces to form Alligator City. The two Floridian natives just dropped their new music video to their single "Whiteboy Wasted." The track is off their album D.U.I and was produced by The Team. The music video, which was directed by Brian White, features the Soundbwoy Entertainment duo celebrating the pleasures of getting whiteboy wasted (just like the hook of the song says).
In the video, the two are seen in an empty pool about to smoke a blunt and talking about getting wasted. After, they hit up a couple people and take a trip to the liquor store to buy a few cases of liq. Later, the duo are seen partying and getting wasted with their homies.

Dj Premiere To Justin Beiber: " Write Your Own Rhymes Honey"

This year BET Hip-Hop awards was on point with the hip-hop cyphers. The man behind the cyphers is none other than the legend "Dj Premiere." Recently, Premier spoke on stories behind the cyphers, choosing the artists, and those who participated in this year's cyphers. Seems like this year was going to be a lot more different in choosing artists for these cypers. Some of us were already shocked enough to see singers Chris Brown and Estelle dropping rhymes. But what if Justin Beiber was in one of those cyphers? Why not! He's been showing his skills for minute now on his collaborations with artists like Chris Breezy and Ludacris. Well, Beiber was almost given the opportunity to show his freestyling skills, until Dj Premiere turned him down.
According to Preimer, Beiber wanted Ludacris to drop a couple bars him.

Nicki Minaj Presents: "The Female Weezy"

The Hip-hop industry has gained a female Weezy. Birdman a.k.a shot his upcoming video "Y.U. Mad" this past weekend. MTV was on the set of the video and did an interview with Birdman and Weezy. Throughout the entire interview, Nicki Minaj was silent as she rocked her "Female Weezy" gear. She was rocking blonde and pink dreads, along with army fatigue cargo pants, Jeremy Scott Panda Bear Addidas, and wife beater.
Later on, "Female Weezy" aka Nicki Minaj did a side interview, where she did a great impersonation of Wayne's old days of sipping on syrup (which Wayne use to do) and Wayne's slurred speech persona. During the interview, she answered questions on Young Money, Weezy's career, and more.
