Tyrese Kicked Off Delaware Radio Station

Earlier this week, Tyrese got into a little trouble in Delaware. On Monday, he made a radio appearance on Delaware's biggest urban station KISS 101.7 and was kicked out for what he says was because he spoke against liquor stores being near schools. He later tweeted about the incident and the program director having a problem with what he had to say:
"just kicked out of a radio station frm a Pd who had a problem w/ me speaking on liquor stores that are by elementary schools in Delaware. In 17 year I hv NEVER been kicked out a radio station.... Because I have aproblem w/ liquor stores being across from elementary schools?"
I was also told that the PD made them ERASE my interview that NO ONE could HEAR me SPEAK on the issue of the liquor stores near kids."
However, KISS 101.7 Program Director Tony Quartarone says he kicked him out for a different reason.
"Tyrese was not kicked off the air for pointing out that liquor stores should not be located near schools.... I totally agree with that. But .... he proceeded to downgrade my audience by calling them homies."

Lil Wayne Covers Vibe Magazine

With his many hit singles these past few months and recent success with "Tha Carter IV," there is no doubt that Lil Wayne is on top of the music industry. Recently, Weezy chatted with Vibe Magazine for their October/November issue. Lil Wayne, who also covers the issue, discusses competition in the rap industry, Jay-Z, his young oney/cash money artist Drake, and hip-hop being an influence on the London Riots.
Check out a couple excerpts from the interview:
On competition in the rap industry
"There are competition [with any artists]. Music isn't about competition no more. All the gangster rappers are happy, all the skateboard rappers are happy, all the white rappers are happy.... Everybody just happy to do music these days. There are no problems. That s&%t died a long time ago with them old-ass rappers. We are just making music, making money having fun feeding our families. Competition is for the old guys."
On competition in the music industry being for the old guys and throwing shots at Jay-Z with the line "I got your baby money/kidnap you b&%$h, get that how-much-you-love-your-lady money"
"I know for a fact, music is about perception. You can't do anything but perceive what you hear. If I know for a fact, i can never be upset about someone's reaction to it. I'm not gonna say I don't know what will happen before I say it [on record]. I do know what will happen. I am aware of it. It is what it is.
